Stafford Cricket Club

This years President’s day will be held on Sunday 22^nd August 2010 with the first XI playing the Presidents Select XI. As well as the cricket match the club will be holding a reunion for all past members. We are looking for as many members as possible to come and see the ground re-development, watch some cricket and take some refreshments. Please spread the word to as many current and ex members as possible so that we can have a day to remember.

Its that time of year again when Stafford’s Barmy Army tourists take on the Rest of England’s Barmy Army. These occasions are always good fun and generate a healthy amount of competition between the two sides, The famous Avro trophy being the spoils for the victorious team. It is the 9th year of the competition with the scores level at 4-4!

The Stafford Cricket Club Fantasy Cricket Season starts on 15th May 2010 and is open for entry now!

The last date for entry will be on 14th May 2010 and teams can be entered until this date.

Points are collected from all league fixtures & include the following teams:

Stafford 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th XI’s, Sunday 1st XI & U17’s

Each manager must pay £10.00 for every team they enter. Prizes will be announced just before the competition starts and is open to anyone who thinks they can pick that winning team!

Each team must consist of:

Five transfers will be allowed every month. Transfer windows will open each month for the First Saturday & Sunday of the month throughout the season.

The 2010 Membership Subscriptions are due no later than 31st of May 2010. Social Membership fees have again been kept low at just £10.00 to encourage new Social Members. We would particularly welcome and encourage parents of our junior members to become either Non-Playing or Social Members to support the club and enjoy the benefits of membership. All members subscriptions are important and help develop and maintain our facilities.

The new fees for 2010 are detailed below. Membership Forms are available at the club or via download from the  club website.
